What is BIMP-EAGA?

The Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area (BIMP-EAGA) is a sub-regional cooperation initiative established in 1994 to accelerate economic development and enhance competitiveness in the less developed areas of the four member countries.

Covering a combined population of over 80 million people and spanning approximately 1.6 million square kilometers, BIMP-EAGA represents one of Southeast Asia's most dynamic growth corridors, rich in natural resources and biodiversity.
