BIMP-EAGA Korea Cooperation Fund (BKCF)
What is BKCF?
The BIMP-EAGA Korea Cooperation Fund (BKCF) is a strategic partnership initiative designed to support sustainable development and green growth across the BIMP-EAGA (Brunei Darussalam-Indonesia-Malaysia-Philippines East ASEAN Growth Area) region.
Established through a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) in 2021, BKCF represents Korea's commitment to fostering regional cooperation and advancing shared prosperity in Southeast Asia.
2021 MOU Agreement
In 2021, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Koreaand the Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) signed a historic MOU to establish and operationalize the BKCF.

Our Mission
BKCF aims to bridge financial and technical gaps by providing targeted support to projects that align with the BIMP-EAGA Vision 2025 (BEV 2025). Through strategic funding and partnerships, we enable transformative initiatives that deliver measurable impact across four priority areas:

Partnership with GGGI
The Global Green Growth Institute (GGGI) serves as the implementing partner for BKCF, bringing decades of expertise in green growth policy development, project management, and capacity building. Together, Korea and GGGI are empowering BIMP-EAGA nations to achieve sustainable, inclusive, and resilient development.
Through this partnership, BKCF provides not only financial resources but also technical assistance, knowledge transfer, and access to global best practices in sustainable development.
